Two-Factor Authentication
We’re constantly improving the WhitePress® platform to make your work both easier and safer. This time, we’re focusing on what matters most — protecting your account and funds. That’s why we’re implementing Two‑Factor Authentication (2FA), a simple feature that gives you extra peace of mind every time you use the platform. See how it will impact your account’s security.

Your account security just got stronger

At WhitePress®, your account and data security are our top priorities. To protect them even better, we’ve turned on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — an additional verification step that makes your account significantly harder for unauthorized users to access.

With Two-Factor Authentication, using your account is safer than ever.

What is protected with 2FA?

Many platforms offer Two-Factor Authentication only for login protection. At WhitePress®, we go further: we protect your account and transactions - including financial operations. This approach provides you with added protection, minimizing potential losses and reducing issues related to unauthorized withdrawals.

What does it mean for you? While all the platform functions and the way you work with us remain the same, for some actions an additional verification (using a code) is going to be needed.

From now on, the following actions will require extra verification:

  • Withdrawing funds
  • Changing your password
  • Updating billing information
  • Adding or editing subaccounts
  • Changing a subaccount’s password
  • (Optional) logging in — if you enable this option via authenticator app

How does it work?

The Two-Factor Authentication is activated automatically on our end. By default, each time an additional code is going to be needed, it will be sent to your email address.

However, there is an advanced option available. For maximum security and convenience, we recommend connecting a mobile authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

You can enable and manage the Two-Factor Authentication app in your Settings → Password & Security. Below, you’ll find a guide showing you exactly how to proceed with the Two-Factor Authentication app and connect it to your account.

Why using the 2FA app is a recommended option?

  • Significantly higher security for your login and personal data
  • Maximum protection for your account funds
  • Extra confidence with every action you take on WhitePress®

FAQ

1. Is 2FA required?

Two-factor verification is activated by us and is mandatory at the following locations:

  • Withdrawal of funds.
  • Change of password.
  • Changing billing details.
  • Adding or editing a sub-account.
  • Changing the password of a sub-account.

In addition, the user can choose to enable verification when logging in to the panel.

Note: Can only be enabled when the account is linked to a dedicated application.

2. Is 2FA free?

Yes, it’s completely free.

3. What if I lose the phone with my 2FA app?

When activating the Two-Factor Authentication app, the user receives backup codes – print it and just save them in a safe place. These allow you to log in without your phone and reconfigure Two-Factor Authentication app.

4. Can I generate backup codes again?

A new set of codes can be generated from the “Password and security” view in the “Authentication application management” section.

5. Is an app-generated code safer than SMS or email?

Yes. App codes are generated locally on your device and are not sent over the internet, which reduces the risk of interception.

6. Can sub-accounts also use the authentication application?

No. Sub-accounts have verification using codes from the email.

Take a moment today to use the Two‑Factor Authentication app and enjoy complete peace of mind knowing your account is better protected.
