Publishers, boost your earnings – add brand mentions and banners to your offer!
The SEO industry is evolving, and our platform evolves with it. To meet the needs of the market, we are introducing new opportunities: brand mentions and banner ads. Do you want to increase your revenue? Stay ahead of advertisers’ expectations and expand your offer with these new options.

What are brand mentions?

Brand mentions are simply references to a brand within the online space – they can appear as the name of a company, product, or service in articles, social media posts, forum discussions, or reviews. In other words, they signal that a brand exists and is being talked about. Unlike link insertions, they usually don’t include an active hyperlink. Even without a click-through, a mention can still influence how a business is perceived and shape user behaviour – encouraging people to search for the brand on Google, visit the website, or make a purchase later.

Brand mentions are a response to how SEO has been changing. Their importance has grown in recent years, especially in the context of AI, because search algorithms have become more sophisticated. Today, Google and LLM-based systems pay attention not only to how many links lead to a website, but also to who is mentioning the brand and in what context. What matters is the complete picture of a brand’s online reputation. Frequent mentions in reputable sources, especially in a positive light, are a strong signal to search engines and AI that the brand is trustworthy and worth citing. And this is exactly what advertisers are now looking for.

Why add brand mentions to your offer?

Brand mentions are more than just a new feature – they’re a direct response to current advertising trends and market demand. By including them, you can provide advertisers with a more comprehensive service package, which is becoming increasingly valuable in light of search engine changes, while also boosting your own revenue.

Mentions – most often added to existing articles – give advertisers the chance to strengthen their brand authority in the eyes of Google and LLMs, while also enhancing brand recognition among users. By offering brand mentions, you’ll be able to meet the diverse marketing strategies of advertisers, who are increasingly seeking more subtle and authentic promotional methods. Mentions do not affect the in/out ratio and are 100% safe in terms of Google!

How to set a price for brand mentions?

We know that setting the right rate for this non-standard service can be a challenge. Brand mentions are different from traditional sponsored articles – they don’t include outbound links and instead act as a natural element of the publication. Drawing on our experience with similar projects, we recommend that the price of a mention should be around 20–30% of the standard price for a sponsored article on your site.

This is, of course, only our suggestion. Ultimately, you as the publisher know the true value of your website, so the final decision on pricing is entirely up to you.

Banner ads on your website

In addition to brand mentions, you can now offer advertisers another new service: banner placements on your site. Banners complement the existing link insertion service, helping advertisers boost both visibility and conversions – while giving you access to fresh advertising budgets.

Bringing banners into the WhitePress® platform also makes settlements much simpler. Instead of negotiating and invoicing individual advertisers for every campaign, you can take advantage of our integrated system. Everything is handled in one place.

The new service allows you to offer three types of banner placements:

  • FF (Flat Fee) – a one-off payment for displaying a banner over a set period,
  • CPM (Cost per Mille) – a fee based on 1,000 banner impressions,
  • CPC (Cost per Click) – a fee based on the number of banner clicks.

For CPM and CPC models, advertisers can purchase multiple packages. As a publisher, you decide the minimum offer size that can be sold at one time.

Please also note that when adding a banner offer, you will need to agree to implement our tracking code on your site and to the new settlement model for CPC and CPM campaigns.
